• Computer science (CS) major at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) seeking my Bachelor's and Master's degrees through UAF's CS BS/MS program.

•  What I'm doing:

  • I am the VP of the Arctic Students For Life (on hiatus until Fall 2025)

  • I am the team leader of UAF's Aurora Robotics Lab, run by Dr. Lawlor. We are developing simulations and testing a robot to mine rocky regolith on the moon and perform lunar construction.

• What I've done:

  • Tutor for the UAF Department of Math and Statistics (August 2023 to March 2025).

• Member of the Northern Lights Church of Christ and Valley Church of Christ. 

• Born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska.

• Married to Katherine Mattson on June 8th, 2024.

• I love music! I play the electric bass and acoustic guitar.

  • I played electric bass in school from 4th to 8th grade, and previously played in the main and KIDZ worship bands at Creekside church.

  • I first played acoustic guitar in kindergarten and 1st grade, continuing in 9th grade. I used to play in the KIDZ worship band at Creekside church. Check out my acoustic guitar Instagram page!
