• Computer science (CS) graduate from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), earning my Bachelor's and Master's degrees through UAF's CS BS/MS program in May of 2026.

•  What I'm doing:

  • In Fall 2026, I am planning to teach Introductory Computer Science (CS F201) at UAF.

  • Working with the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP), doing power-related research.

  • I am the team leader of UAF's Aurora Robotics Lab, advised by Dr. Lawlor. 

• What I've done:

  • In Spring 2026, I taught Robotics & 3D Printing (CS F453) at UAF.

  • Tutor for the UAF Department of Math and Statistics (August 2023 to March 2025).

• Member of the Northern Lights Church of Christ. 

• My life:

  • Born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska.

  • Baptized at the Valley Church of Christ by Robert Kuenning on Sunday, September 4th, 2022.

  • Married to Katherine Mattson on June 8th, 2024.

  • My daughter, Abigail Mattson, born on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at 8:12pm, weighing 16 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long.
